Set amid towering pines and pioneer cabins, Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground provides all the family togetherness typical of a Disney holiday. Wilderness enthusiasts seeking close proximity to the Magic Kingdom Park in Lake Buena Vista will discover this rustic lodging just two miles away at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

The resort is five miles from Downtown Disney, six miles from Epcot and seven miles from Disney-MGM Studios. Disney's Animal Kingdom is 11 miles away and Orlando International Airport is 15 miles from the hotel. Located on Bay Lake, the resort includes its own sandy white beach and marina with boat rentals.

Guests can enjoy boat rides to and from the Magic Kingdom park. Guests coast through a drive-thru check in area and prepare for activities such as canoeing, kayaking, fishing and biking. Evenings bring campfires with marshmallows roasts, sing-alongs and Disney movies. Two Trading Post general stores sell snacks and beverages.
