Summer is in full swing and we’re gearing up for an exciting month ahead. We’re dedicating July to adventure; think breath-taking scenery, captivating experiences, enticing cities and most importantly, a bucket load of fun.
Many of us gaze at photos of the US in utter wanderlust, with such vast landscapes and iconic destinations, there’s a huge variety of adventures to be had. From the rollercoasters and excitement of Orlando to the picturesque valleys in California and plenty in between, there’s a holiday for any type of explorer. We’ve picked our favourite locations for an adventure of a lifetime and we will be sharing them with you throughout July, so hold on tight and don’t look back!
Discover Coves SeaVenture
We’re excited about Discovery Cove’s
SeaVenture, an underwater walking tour through The Grand Reef. A fully immersive experience where you’ll stand nose-to-nose with gentle ocean animals and the opportunity touch unique sea life found along the way. During this once-in-a-lifetime tour, you’ll see sharks swimming around, through the safety of a panoramic window. Eek!
Kennedy Space Center
Embark on an intergalactic adventure at
Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex, the actual launch headquarters of NASA. Marvel at awe-inspiring rockets and learn about space travel with interactive exhibits, plus hear the stories of the brave astronauts, who ventured to outer space. We’ve picked the Kennedy Space Center as the most inspirational and out-of-this-world attractions in Florida, an absolute must for any inquisitive explorer.
Kissimmee
Where else in the world can you explore alligator-filled swamps, ride in a hot air balloon over the lush landscape or climb high on a treetop adventure?
Kissimmee is a haven for adrenaline lovers and there’s a whole host experiences to be had outside of the theme parks. We’ll be highlighting all of our favourite things to do throughout July.
Daytona Beach
Everybody loves a day at the seaside. Visit the family friendly
Daytona Beach and explore the area’s 23 miles of adventurous activities. Just over an hour from Orlando, we’d pick Daytona for a wild day out, filled with water sports, carnival rides, arcades plus buzzing bars and restaurants.
Home to the Daytona International Speedway, the area has a rich history in motor racing history and it’s where many land speed records were broken. Supersonic and every bit exhilarating, have a go at this heart-pumping sport on the Richard Petty Driving Experience.
