This Mediterranean-style hotel was inspired by the village of Portofino on the Italian Riviera. Its piazza offers shops and fine-dining restaurants. The piazza also features the Mandara Spa, a 12,300-square-foot facility that provides massages, body treatments, and facials as well as a fitness centre with treadmills, universal machines, free weights, sauna, and steam room (surcharge).
Additional complimentary options include priority reservations at 'character dining' experiences at the hotel’s restaurants, and first-available seating at all Universal Orlando table restaurants.
There are three outdoor splash pools, including the hotel’s signature zero-entry splash pool with Roman-aqueduct slide.
Other amenities include four spa tubs, a cold-plunge tub, arcade room, bocce ball courts, and jogging paths. Camp Portofino provides evening supervised childcare activities (surcharge).
Featuring authentic Italian furnishings, welcoming guestrooms include custom duvets and Egyptian cotton linens. Guests may choose guestrooms with garden or bay views, and cotton bathrobes are standard. Other amenities include high- speed Internet access, multiple telephones and minibars.
