Disney's Coronado Springs

  • Mexican Style resort property.
  • Built around a 15 acre lake.
  • A wide range of dining options on-site.
  • Health club.

Based on the travels of famed explorer Don Francisco de Coronado, Disney's Coronado Springs Resort in Lake Buena Vista is adjacent to Disney-MGM Studios and less than one mile from Disney's Winter Summerland miniature golf course and Disney's Blizzard Beach water park. Guests are four miles from Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom, and six miles from Epcot. Orlando International Airport is 21 miles from the hotel.

Combining elements from colonial Spain, Mexico and New Mexico, Disney's Coronado Resort is a cultural escape. The lakeside resort decorates the horizon with domed Spanish rooftops in the colors of a sunset. The resort area is highlighted by colorful plazas, palm-shaded courtyards and a rocky shoreline surrounding a shimmering lake.
The majestic lobby features beamed ceilings and a Spanish fountain. An armoire with glass doors houses a miniature mariachi band. A Mayan temple towers over an elaborate pool area with a waterslide and cascading fountains. Child-friendly activities include a playground doubling as an archeological dig site for young explorers, and an arcade.

Resort guests can take advantage of the complimentary motor coach transportation throughout the resort.
