If you are looking for a golfing holiday then you can’t go wrong than with Florida. There are between 100 and 150 golf courses in the Orlando area alone.

Florida is the home of the Golf Channel, Tiger Woods and Arnold Palmer. It also has courses designed by the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Pete Dye, Tom Fazio, Rees Jones, Robert Trent Jones, Dick Wilson and Joe Lee.

Florida is also renowned for the quality of its courses which can be justified with 3 events in 2009’s PGA tour being held in the state. These include The World Golf Championships-CA Championship, Arnold Palmer Invitational presented by MasterCard and the Players Championship.

Ocean Florida only use airlines with large baggage allowance

A major sticking point for any golfing holiday abroad is the amount you are allowed to carry. We only use scheduled flights with companies such as Virgin, BA and United who all offer 46kgs per person. This is a lot compared to the likes of Thomas Cook or Thomsons who offer only 20kgs per person.
