Stratosphere Tower Thrill Rides, Las Vegas

Hold onto your lunch as you experience the world’s highest thrill rides at the Stratosphere Hotel in Las Vegas. Located at the northernmost point of the Strip and at the very top of the tallest observation tower in the United States, the Stratosphere hotel has three terrifying rides.
 

The heart-pounding and adrenaline-fuelled attractions rise to 1,149ft into the Vegas skyline, offering a bird’s eye view of the city. Unlike anything you’ve experienced before, the three rides consist of Insanity, X-Scream and Big Shot.

Brave the scream-inducing claw ride, Insanity, extending out 64ft over the edge of the tower and at heights of 900ft. If you can keep your eyes open, you’ll see spectacular views of downtown. Then, propel headfirst over the edge of the tower on X-Scream; once you’ve been tipped over the edge, you hang over the strip admiring the view before being pulled back for another go. Last but not least is the hair-raising Big Shot, you’ll launch up the Tower’s mast which is a staggering 1,081ft above ground. You’ll see breathe-taking views as far as the eye can see before your shot down again. By the time you’ve caught your breath, you’ll be fired back up to the terrifying top.
