The MGM Grand Hotel & Casino is one of the premier hotels and casinos in Las Vegas. The Habitat houses eight African Lions, all of which are descendants of the original MGM marquee Lion, Metro. The exhibit is open daily from 11 A.M to 10 P.M., and admission is free. When you visit this exhibit, you can learn about the lions while observing them in their habitat. If you go at the right time, you will be able to see trainers feed the lions a treat. The exit to the Habitat consists of a gift shop, where you can purchase souvenirs with a distinct lion theme.
With a host of wonderfully sophisticated facilities on offer, you'll be spoilt for choice as to what to do next, take advantage of the Grand Pool Complex with its five swimming pools, three relaxing whirlpools, meandering lazy river and lush foliage surroundings. Please note the Grand Pool Complex is open February through November, with a minimum of one pool and one whirlpool open 7 days a week.
11 fine dining venues will keep your tastebuds tantaslised throughout your stay, as well as two casual dining options and seven cafes/light bite eateries including a Starbuck's are on-site.
For all your retail needs, the MGM Grand is home to a dedicated and elegant shopping area, Studio Walk, where you can purchase amazing luxurious items from fashion to souvenirs. Also, try Star Lane in the main lobby or many of MGM's shopping outlets located throughout the hotel complex.
