St Marks Lighthouse
Travel back to the 1820’s when the town of St. Marks, Florida, was considered an important port of entry. Serving as a port for the planting region of Middle Florida and some counties of South Georgia. Growers hauled agricultural products down to the port town in wagons and by 1829 a tower was constructed to help navigate through the shallow waters and thus, St. Marks lighthouse.
