Deck parties, unbelievable entertainment and laugh-out-loud shows will really blow your socks off. Watch captivating, blockbuster movies at the IMAX theatre or immerse yourself in a multi-sensory experience at Thrill Theatre.
Sunseeker?
What’s better than the sun in the sky, a drink in hand and getting stuck into a really good book? Not a lot. Soak up the rays as you sit in the open air or paddle in the pool. Chat with friends over a coffee and a slice of cake as you look out towards the bright blue ocean – bliss!
Thrillseeker?
Kids (and kids at heart) will enjoy diving into all the adventure aboard the Horizon. SportSquare is the place to start exploring. The SkyRide will suspend you high above the deck as you peddle along the course, providing the best vantage point to check out what fun things there are to try. SportSquare is also home to the football pitch, basketball court and SkyCourse, the thrilling ropes course.
The Dr. Seuss Waterworks is the onboard water park, it’s waterslide-aplenty and splashingly good fun. There are two main slides on the deck, The Cat’s Hat and the Fun Things, both are topsy-turvy, with plenty of twists and turns. Think you can escape walking through without getting wet? Think again. Water-spray toys and a giant tipping top hat is guaranteed to get you soaked.
Chillseeker?
Paradisiac spas and relaxation zones can be found throughout the ship. Recharge your batteries with some time in the whirlpool where the ambient music will transport you to nirvana. Find a hammock in a quiet spot in the sunshine and drift off to the slow rocking motions. Whether you want just five minutes peace or a cruise full of R&R, you’ll find your happy place on the Carnival Horizon.
Foodieseeker?
Carnivores, herbivores and those with a picky palette will find plenty of places to indulge. Guy Fieri from the TV programme Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, has put his very own stamp on the Carnival Horizon. Guy’s Pig & Anchor Bar-B-Que Smokehouse | Brewhouse serves up lip-smacking smokey BBQ foods and great beers, too. Take a bite from the juiciest burger you’ve probably ever had at Guy’s Burger Joint, another created by Fieri.
If you fancy taking your palette to far away places then visit JiJi Asian Kitchen or Bonsai Teppanyaki, both delivering an authentic dining experience right at your table. Those who love a spicy food will be pleased to visit Bluelguana Cantina which has a Mexican menu that celebrates the colourful and vibrant dishes from around the country.
The ship has many other restaurants, including steakhouses, deli bars and buffets serving breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner. Snack on delicious sweet and savoury treats from pizzas to shakes - there really is something for everyone.
