The Role

The function of our sales department is to engage in a variety of customer services and sales activities, with the objective of promoting our products and to set ourselves apart from any other holiday company. Our Travel Consultants are critical to achieving this ambition: to deliver the very best outcome for the customer and the business.

As well as the great basic salary and very competitive commission structure, we also provide full training on the “Love Ocean” customer journey – which is unique to us. Alongside this we aim to send every member of our sales team on a familiarisation trip (to the US) as part of their induction to really understand the destination – so make sure you have your passport ready!

Key Tasks:
  • Building and selling high value holidays including flights, villas, car hire, cruises and much more
  • Offering exceptional service to our customers, understanding their requirements and matching their expectations
  • Meeting and exceeding set sales and performance targets as well as working in teams
  • Ensuring the sales process is efficient as possible – being creative about improving the customer journey to encourage repeat bookings
About You:
  • You have most likely worked in a customer services, contact centre or B2C sales role for a minimum of two years.
  • You take pride in building great relationships quickly with your customers
  • Strong knowledge and passion for travel
  • You have a mature and confident attitude with a fantastic telephone manner
  • Driven to meet and exceed personal sales targets - you are comfortable working in a commission based environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Able to work alone and as a team player
  • An experienced sales person that is sales hungry and driven by KPIs.
  • We are looking for quick learners, who can get up to speed quickly with our culture, ethos and products

Quality Control Executive

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Ocean are seeking a strong Quality Control Executive with a high attention to detail and accuracy when inputting data. Candidates will be expected to have a high strong team working attitude and be able to deal with workloads under pressure.

Role Overview and Benefits
  • Quality check all bookings and load onto TopDog
  • Send customer confirmations and tickets
  • Booking accommodation, tickets and transfers direct on supplier website
  • Assisting direct line manager as and when requested
  • Ensuring quality at every process
  • Completing amendments

  • Troubleshooting discrepancies, identify root cause and finding solution

Business Development Executive

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Supporting the Ocean Beds Key Account Director to prospect and generate new business. Build and maintain relationships within your Trade partner portfolio. Promote the Ocean Beds Products, Service and Technology in line with the Companies Objectives of the Code of Conduct, Customer Service, Technology and Data driven processes

Role Overview and Benefits
  • Identify new business opportunities using the current database and own database of contacts to deliver team and individual targets and KPI’s
  • Support Key Account Director to ensure all sales campaigns are planned, delivered and completed in specified time frames
  • Grow Sales in line with company budgets and targets
  • Promoting Ocean Beds Villa and Hotel products to existing and new trade clients in the UK, USA Domestic and other markets
  • Attend meetings, training sessions, webinars and perform follow up duties as required
  • Provide market feedback at weekly sales meetings by researching market trends within portfolio of accounts Be involved with marketing activities
Person Specification Including Behaviours Required:
  • Previous sales experience with a proven record within a travel background
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritisation skills

The role is based in our Romford office; however, you will be expected to travel extensively within the UK and overseas as required. You will be expected to work in our Romford office twice a week.
