With is narrow cobble-stoned streets and ancient building, Quebec is full of charm and a beautiful city to get lost in for a day. Visit the historic area, known locally as Old Quebec where there are a collection stunning buildings dating back centuries. The area is also full of art, music, shopping and fine dining so there is plenty to do. For a break from the city, visit Montmorency Falls Park, home to a waterfall 1.5 times higher that Niagara Falls.

Halifax is the capital of Nova Scotia and has a distinctly urban feel compared to its surrounding areas. Priding itself on fresh, locally sourced ingredients, Halifax has built a reputation for it's delicious cuisine. The many farmers markets all over the city are a true testament to how seriously they take their food. The beer and wine in Halifax is also of great importance due to the many wineries and breweries that surround the area. Once you've wined and dined, there are plenty of galleries to browse and shopping to indulge in, in this metropolitan hub.

Whilst you may not have time to do it all, it's worth making a few stops on the Good Cheer Trail in Nova Scotia. Made up of over 50 producers of wine, beer and spirits, you'll enjoy the different communities and stories that go with every glass as you move around the trail.
This winter wonderland is home polar bears, humpback whales, beluga whales, artic foxes and caribou.
