As with all theme parks, the key to enjoyment is good planning. Take into account the ages of your family members and how adventurous (or not) they are and you’ll pack your day at SeaWorld Orlando with fun.

You can’t miss the iconic 400-foot Sky Tower, which has been a feature of SeaWorld since it opened in 1973. It’s great for getting your bearings and the views from the top are incredible.

SeaWorld is the place to learn about the wildlife that calls the tropical waters of Florida home. It’s great for finding out more about conservation and encounter sea life such as belugas, dolphins, rays, manatees and more.

SeaWorld isn’t short on theatrical entertainment. Among the seasonal shows is latin-themed Viva la Musica, which includes music, live acts and dining. A’Lure, the Call of the Ocean is a bewitching and beautiful mariner’s story with flying acrobats and tumblers that will amaze and entertain. We’ve got a soft spot for Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie – see them form their own rock n’ roll band and perform in a concert.

We can’t wait to try the latest simulator ride, Antarctica, Empire of the Penguin ®. Puck the penguin will introduce you to his penguin family. The ride comes in two styles – mild or wild – which might make it more appealing to some than the ever-popular Wild Arctic Ride jet helicopter simulator.

Antarctica

But we’re talking theme parks – that means scary rides, right? Don’t miss Kraken – a monster spiralling coaster that’s higher, longer and faster than other rides in Orlando! Or dare yourself to try Manta, which includes a head-first, face-down, inverted nosedive. We love that non-riders can lose themselves in the tranquillity of the Manta Aquarium while they wait for more adventurous family members to return to earth.
