If this is the year you’re looking to splash out on the ultimate Florida villa holiday, you’ve come to the right place...

As the biggest Florida specialist of our kind in Europe, we know a thing or two about villa resorts with the best pools.

After all, what is a villa holiday without a pristine swimming pool? In the Sunshine State, cooling off is always recommended and relaxing after a day filled with attractions is simply essential.

Many of the private pools at Florida villas can feel similar, but there can be a stark difference between the resort pools on offer. With this in mind, we have delved into our collection of over 2,000 holiday homes and found 7 resorts that let you dive into adventure.

From luxurious rooftop views to family-friendly water parks, here's somewhere for everyone...

ChampionsGate Resort

Highlight: The wave pool

ChampionsGate Resort is set over 900 acres of glorious greenery and is packed to the brim with amenities, not least the 18-hole golf course. It’s no wonder it’s one of the most popular holiday villa communities for an active holiday, and  importantly, water enthusiasts will be in their element here.

Its Oasis Water Park is a paradise within a paradise, home to endless possibilities for aquatic fun. Get the adrenaline pumping as you zoom down water slides and ride the waves at the wave pool or opt for a relaxing trip down the lazy river.

Little ones will love the splash area, while parents can enjoy the tranquillity of the lagoon pool. And for when you want to escape the scorching Floridian heat, air-conditioned, poolside cabanas provide that welcome shade to retreat to.

Reunion Resort

Highlight: The rooftop pool

This upscale resort offers several incredible pool areas, most notably the rooftop pool, where you can take a dip while admiring the stunning views of the resort and surrounding areas. It’s also home to the Seven Eagles Pool Pavilion, where you’ll find a large resort pool, hot tubs, and a bar and grille for when hunger strikes.

Though if you’re after a little calmness, The Cove at Sandy Ridge and Terraces Pool both offer heated pools in serene environments, perfect for unwinding after a busy day taking in all that Orlando has to offer. And, of course, for even more peace, many villas at Reunion Resort boast their own private pools, so you may want to opt for this option when booking.

Encore Resort at Reunion

Highlight: The 10-acre waterpark

Considered one of the best family resorts in Orlando, equipped with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor amenities, it comes as no surprise that the pool facilities at The Encore Club are some of the best in town too. Home to a 10-acre waterpark, wet and wild fun is right at your doorstep.

If you’re feeling adventurous, brave the likes of WaveRacer, Stormchaser, and Tsunami by plummeting off a 60-foot tower. And for the little ones, the Surfing Safari Kids’ Splash Area is sure to please. Water slides, canons, and water jets are just a few of the activities to keep them entertained for hours.

And for the final encore, you won’t want to miss the arcade, where you can challenge the family to fierce air hockey and racing competitions or get nostalgic with classics such as Pac-Man and Centipede.

Solterra Resort

Highlight: the zero-entry pool

Solterra Resort is a sublime gated community, nestled in the Davenport area of Orlando. It is a tranquil haven away from the bustle of the major theme parks. Here, you will also find a wide range of pools to choose from. There is the zero-entry pool, perfect for that refreshing dip; the water slide, for when you crave a thrill; or the lazy river, offering a leisurely journey through the water.

Kids also have the option of the Children’s Splash Pad, a designated area for interactive water play, where little ones can cool off while having a blast. And when the time comes to get the family together for a little refreshment, the poolside bar awaits.

Windsor Hills Resort

Highlight: The kid's waterpark

Being one of the closest villa communities to Walt Disney World, Windsor Hills Resort is a top choice for family holidays in Orlando.

Yet it’s not just the proximity to the parks that makes it stand out. Its pool selection is also a major boasting point, making a day off from the thrills and spills of the coasters equally enjoyable.

Just outside the resort’s main clubhouse is a large, lagoon-style pool where you can cool off with a swim or feel the rush of excitement on the water slide. Then, there’s the large colourful water park, where kids can go wild, while adults can slip into serene relaxation in the hot tub.

Storey Lake Resort

Highlight: The lazy river

Your perfect family holiday story awaits at Storey Lake Resort, where you can immerse yourself in a tropical oasis. Featuring a sparkling resort-style pool, lazy river, jacuzzies, and a tiki bar, it is the ideal place to soak up that Orlando sun AND get back to nature. Plus, kids will go wild for the children’s splash park, where they can jump to and fro between water slides, spray features, and interactive water play areas.

Located in the heart of Kissimmee, guests are also within easy reach of all that Central Florida has to offer, including Orlando icon, Walt Disney World.

Paradise Palms Resort

Highlight: The modern resort pool with waterfalls and jets

True to its name, Paradise Palms Resort offers a slice of paradise with its stunning pool complex and private villa pools. Being one of the newest and most modern communities in the Kissimmee area, this resort is highly sought after for good reason.

The resort-style pool is a huge crystalline water haven, perfect for enjoying a few leisurely lengths in between your park-going itinerary. You will also find a thrilling water slide for when it’s time to kick things up a notch. And the separate children’s pool guarantees splashing heaven for any little ones onboard.

But if you like a little more exclusivity poolside, then be sure to opt for one of the many villas with their own private pools. Typically located in the backyard, they provide that extra privacy when going for a dip.
