Attractions…

TRON Lightcycle/Run: Presented by Enterprise, Magic Kingdom

The moment is finally here! After years of anticipation, TRON Lightcycle/Run: Presented by Enterprise will make its eagerly awaited debut on April 4, and is set to become one of the fastest coasters at a Disney resort. Buckle up on your own lightcycle for an epic journey across the digital frontier, as you whizz through eight Energy Gates, past the Grid’s fiercest opponents. This Tomorrowland addition, based on the Disney movie TRON: Legacy, is sure to be one of Walt Disney World’s top attractions. With that in mind, a virtual queue system will be in place, so, be sure to grab your spot and prepare to join Team Blue in the race to victory.

Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, EPCOT

A trip to Walt Disney World without a quest to save the galaxy – it just wouldn’t be complete. Luckily Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind has the mission for you. Your first stop will be exploring the incredible wonders of Xander planet, where you will learn more about its people and technologies. But then the adventure really begins. Join Rocket, Groot, Gamora, and Star-Lord aboard the Nova Corps Starcharter on a thrilling space pursuit to save humanity from the evil powers of Eson.

Based on the hugely popular Marvel franchise, it features Disney’s first ever reverse launch coaster and is one of the largest fully enclosed coasters in the world. Now that’s some serious bragging rights! What’s more, it even includes hits from the movies’ famed soundtrack, so you can rock out while you save the day.

Journey of Water, EPCOT

Set to open later in the year, Journey of Water is Disney’s first Moana based attraction. Walk in the footsteps of the spirited Polynesian teen as you explore a maze of magical, living water. This interactive trail is scheduled to open in EPCOT’s World Nature - the neighbourhood revolving around the understanding and preservation of the natural world. It will immerse guests in a lush environment, where they can be inspired by the ways of the water. Plus, the opportunity to gaze in wonderment at the towering Te Fiti will undoubtedly be a pleasing addition for all Moana fans. This new attraction is sure to be not only fun for all the family, but educational too.

Entertainment…

Happily Ever After returns, Magic Kingdom

Fans rejoice, as fireworks extravaganza, Happily Ever After, is set to come out of retirement for 2023. This dazzling light and song display, which sees Cinderella’s Castle transformed into a collage of Disney favourites, had been replaced by the 50th celebration Enchantment show. But on April 3, it’s back by popular demand to wow guests once more, including all-new projections down Main Street USA. Magic Kingdom’s nighttime spectacular truly captures the essence of Disney through extraordinary special effects, lights, lasers, and of course beloved Disney tunes. Happily Ever After is certainly what Disney dreams are made of, making it the perfect way to end your day at the park.

EPCOT Forever returns, EPCOT

With the conclusion of Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, another fan favourite is set to return temporarily this April – EPCOT Forever. Watch in awe as both the history and future of EPCOT is celebrated through a dazzling display of fireworks and special effects set to a collection of theme park favourite tunes. While you can get a clear view of the skies lighting up from anywhere in EPCOT, you may wish to splurge on a private EPCOT fireworks cruise. Does it cost a pretty penny? Yes. But is it worth it? Absolutely! Enjoy a relaxing sail towards World Showcase Lagoon, while indulging in a variety of Disney snacks and drinks. Then park up between France and United Kingdom to watch the show from the best spot in town. Alternatively, you could make a reservation at one of EPCOT’s many restaurants to enjoy a little fine dining with your nighttime entertainment.

Dining…

Roundup Rodeo BBQ, Disney's Hollywood Studios®

Reservations are now open for Toy Story Land’s newest addition to the menu. Immerse yourself in Andy’s rodeo playtime for a hootin’ tootin’ dining experience like no other. Become Andy’s latest toy to reside amongst the western towns and train station playsets as you chomp down on classic BBQ style fare. Indulge in a platter of house-smoked items, including There’s a Sausage in my Boot-Fire Grilled Pork Sausage and Evil Dr. Smoked Ribs. And for dessert, you may want to sample Cupcake a la Forky, or maybe Goat’s Apple Pie.

You can also enjoy displays of some of your favourite characters, such as Jessie riding on the back of a Trixie pull toy, and Bo Beep and her sheep ready to take the rodeo by storm. Set to become the world’s first Toy Story-themed table service restaurant, it is an exciting addition to the 2023 calendar.

Summer House on the Lake, Disney Springs

The highly anticipated Summer House on the Lake is set to open its doors to guests in 2023. Summer House has current locations in Chicago and North Bethesda, Maryland, but this Disney Springs setting is bound to be a picturesque sight. Although little has been revealed of the menu, if the other popular haunts are anything to go by, you can expect a tasty selection of sandwiches, pizzas, salads, pasta, and more. Summer House on the Lake will join a whole host of Disney Springs dining options, so you will never go hungry this side of Walt Disney World.
