Most of you will know we launched the Disney Survey at the beginning of the year to find the nation’s favourite Disney characters. We also had a competition running alongside the survey and offered entrants the chance to win a 7-night family villa holiday, with flights and extras included. We caught up with the winner from the survey to see what she got up to on her very exciting trip!
Q1 What did you win?
One-week holiday to Walt Disney World Florida, including accommodation in a Disney Resort Hotel, flights, 7 Day Disney Ultimate Tickets and $200 spending money.
Q2 How did you feel when you found out you’d won?
I couldnt believe it! It didnt seem real until I stepped onto the plane. Things like this never happen to me!

My boyfriend and my 4-year-old daughter
Q4 Have you been to Florida before?
I visited Florida when I was younger but my boyfriend and daughter had never been before.
Q5 What did you do whilst you were in Florida?
We visited Magic Kingdom twice and Epcot, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios once. We extended our stay for an extra week so we could visit Sea World, Kennedy Space Center, Busch Gardens, a helicopter ride and a couple of days at the beach. Also, we enjoyed lots of food!
Q6 What were you excited for the most?
I was looking forward to seeing my daughters reaction to meeting the Disney Princesses and the magic of Disney as we are big fans.
Q7 How would you rate your holiday?
Amazing! The best holiday weve ever had!
Q8 What was your favourite moment?
It was all fabulous, there are so many to choose from! Seeing my daughter’s face when meeting the Disney Princesses, walking into Magic Kingdom and seeing the castle was amazing.
Q9 What would be your advice for Florida first-timers?
- Water is free in the parks, just ask at the kiosks.
- Try to buy Mickey and Minnie Mouse ears and autograph books before you go as they are more expensive in the parks.
- Hire a car to explore the rest of Florida
- If you have little ones, buy a fan for the pushchair because it can get very hot!
