Everything you love about Disney, closer than ever. No flights, no fuss, just enchantment on the seas. Imagine sailing to exotic locations alongside Disney royalty and spending your summer in style, experiencing Broadway-style shows, deck parties under the stars, water slides over the horizon, and endless character experiences. Disney Cruises from the UK have it all…

Overview

Our Disney cruises promise magical summers sailing from Southampton to Northern Europe, Spain, and the British Isles on 3-5 night voyages. Picture fairytales in Flanders, boat tours in Rotterdam and wine tasting in Bilboa.

But for many, the magic happens on board, and at a more relaxed pace. Compared with theme park days, there’s even greater opportunity for character meet-and-greets which little ones are sure to love. But it’s not just the kids that will adore their adventure at sea, there is tons for adults to enjoy also. From Star Wars lounge cocktail bars with galaxy views to world-class Frozen-themed and even adults-only areas, mature guests will just as easily get swept up in the excitement.

Disney Ships

Disney Dream

Due to set sail again from Southampton this summer, The Disney Dream is a stylish and family-focused ship that blends classic ocean-liner elegance with modern Disney innovation. Launched in 2011 and reimagined in 2024, Disney Dream transports guests to the golden age of storytelling. It features Art Deco designs and the luxurious gold, blue, and rich wooden finishes that glamorised the 1920s and 1930s.

Disney Dream introduced exciting features like the AquaDuck water coaster and virtual portholes in Inside Staterooms, alongside Broadway-style shows like Beauty and the Beast, themed dining, and dedicated spaces for kids and adults alike. With its mix of timeless design and immersive entertainment, the Disney Dream offers a luxurious experience.

Disney Wish

Due to make its first voyage from Southampton in 2027, Disney Wish is perfect for those who already have their mind on next year’s summer holiday. The Disney Wish is one of Disney Cruise Line’s newest ships, and offers a timeless princess-inspired, "enchanted castle" theme.

Famous for its Frozen-themed dining experience featuring Elsa, stellar cocktails at the Star Wars lounge with galaxy views, and wild water coaster AquaMouse - featuring animated scenes of Mickey Mouse himself - this is classic Disney at its finest. Families will love the Verandah Staterooms, which come with private balconies and thoughtful layouts for convenience. And all room types promise elegant Disney touches, such as Sleeping Beauty décor, and “magical portholes” that display real-time ocean views even in Inside Staterooms.

Destinations & Itinerary options

Disney Cruise Line offers a range of flexible European packages from Southampton, with our itineraries lasting from 3 to 5 nights. Find fairytale wonder in the canals of Bruges or revel in the waterfront charm and historic cobbled streets of the newly added Rotterdam itinerary. Or perhaps it’s Mediterranean sunshine you’re after? Take your pick from 2 Spanish voyages to either La Coruna or Bilbao, where you can unwind on sun-soaked beaches and explore rich Spanish culture.

Amenities & attractions

Character meet-and-greets

On the Disney Dream, character meet-and-greets have a classic Disney feel, with frequent appearances from Mickey, Minnie, and friends in dedicated locations and casual surprise moments around the ship. The Disney Wish takes it further with more immersive encounters, including themed settings and surprise interactions that tie into Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney stories, making meet-and-greets feel more like mini experiences.

Cinema

Both ships offer the opportunity to escape into a Disney classic or be first in line for a fresh release. Aboard Disney Wish, you have the choice of two movie theatres – the Wonderland Cinema and Neverland Cinema, each with their own theming that will make you feel like you’ve stepped into a movie even before you’ve taken your seat. At Disney Dream, it’s all about glamour with the Buena Vista theatre inspired by Hollywood’s Golden Age.

Live shows

There are live shows a plenty aboard both ships, all performed in a grand theatre. The Disney Wish features Broadway-style productions of well-known Disney classics, such as The Little Mermaid and Aladdin. As mentioned, Disney Dream also takes on a Disney classic with their version of Beauty and the Beast. But you will also find the heartwarming Believe and the star-studded Golden Mickey’s, where the who’s who of Disney come together to celebrate.

Water attractions

As touched upon, aboard the Disney Dream, guests can enjoy the AquaDuck, a thrilling water coaster that loops around the upper decks with ocean views. Meanwhile, Disney Wish introduces AquaMouse, Disney’s first-ever at-sea attraction, combining water slides with animated storytelling, screens, and character-driven scenes for a more interactive experience. And with ten pools and water play zones, there’s plenty more splashing to be had.

Dining

The Disney Dream offers beautifully themed restaurants that showcase elegant design and classic Disney storytelling. Guests can dine in venues like Animator’s Palate, where drawings magically come to life around you, Enchanted Garden, inspired by the gardens of Versailles, and Royal Palace, which celebrates Disney princesses in a sophisticated setting. The Disney Wish takes dining further with highly immersive experiences, such as Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure and Marvel-themed restaurants, where entertainment is seamlessly integrated into your meal, creating a more interactive and story-driven experience.

Room options

The Inside Staterooms provide a cosy base for your cruise adventure. Equipped with a queen bed, convertible sofa, and pull-down bed, they’re ideal for families who plan to spend most of their time enjoying the ship.
