With over 25 Walt Disney World resorts to choose from, it can be difficult to know where to begin. Yet like all Disney fairytales, it starts with your dreams and ends with the help of trusted travel companions. Whether you're seeking large-than-life decorations at a wallet-friendly hotel or want the full Disney princess treatment in a refined resort, with decades of experience in all things Disney, we know a place. Just think of us as your fairy godmother for Orlando holidays, and here's how you can always stay where the magic happens...

Where to Stay at Disney World Orlando: Important Factors

Budget

Walt Disney World has three categories of resorts – Value, Moderate, and Deluxe. Value resorts are great for affordable family holidays. Although they offer less in terms of grand themes and luxurious amenities, you are still within easy access to theme parks. You can expect a little more in Moderate resorts, including spacious rooms, multiple dining options, and unique themes. Then there’s Deluxe. On the pricier side, Deluxe resorts feature elaborate themes, fine dining, and a range of amenities, typically including multiple pools, spa services, and fitness centres. Plus, you are literally steps away from the magic of Disney World parks.

Accommodation Type

Walt Disney World offers a range of accommodation types, from hotels and villas to cabins and campsites. When picking the perfect lodging, you will want to keep in mind the number of your party. For example, larger groups may prefer to select a spacious villa. Or perhaps themed hotel rooms will suffice for smaller families with kids. Villas, cabins, and campsites offer more independence while hotels can provide more convenience, dining options, and theme park views.

Amenities

One important question when picking the perfect Walt Disney World accommodation is how much time you will spend there. Is your resort simply a place to rest up for your day at the parks or do you want a good balance of resort time and days out? For those who don’t plan to spend much time there beyond sleeping, Value resorts are the best option. However, if you do want to make the most out of your stay, Deluxe or Moderate offer a lot more recreational choices, as well as table service restaurants as opposed to the food court only option at value resorts.
