Location
What attractions do you want to be near? Would you consider an official Disney, Universal or SeaWorld Resort? These are just two of many questions you’ll have to consider asking yourself when considering the location of your hotel. Being near to your favourite theme parks may be a huge factor in determining where to stay and luckily, Orlando is packed full of hotels in various locations. If you want to be on the doorstep of Disney World, Universal or SeaWorld, there are official resorts such as
Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort and
Disney’s Caribbean Beach that will be perfect for you. Alternatively, you may want to be near the lively International Drive which boasts a number of family-friendly attractions and entertainment, in which case a hotel such as the
Avanti Resort would be ideal. It really helps to know your plans before deciding what location to stay in. Having said that, there are plenty of quick and easy ways to get around Orlando if you aren’t close to your preferred attractions.
Know your budget

Convenience & facilities
Are you a family with young children? Are you a couple? Know your party, assess what will be ideal for you and take into consideration if it’s a hotel that will cater to your interests. Of course you will want to know what facilities your hotel has, but knowing whether or not the hotel’s atmosphere will be right for you and your party can be a more difficult assessment. On the whole,
Orlando is very much a family destination and naturally, hotels are all family orientated with facilities ideal for children. However, if you are a couple and want a bit more peace and quiet with a host of more adult-type attractions such as a spa or golf course perhaps, then finding that hotel is still achievable.
