Vegas is about so much more than casinos. Spend the day exploring Fremont Street, sit down to a classic Vegas buffet, spot pink-feathered residents at the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat, or wander through the Neon Museum, where the city’s glowing past comes to life.
This is Las Vegas - welcoming, full of personality, and packed with experiences the whole family can enjoy.

Plan Your Las Vegas Getaway: Travel Inspiration and Top Attractions
Looking for Las Vegas holiday inspiration? From the glitz and glamour of The Strip to the breathtaking natural beauty of the surrounding desert, there's no shortage of sights to explore and experiences to enjoy. Whether it’s your very first visit or a welcome return to a longtime favourite, we’re here to help you shape the perfect itinerary.

Las Vegas Residency Shows
Las Vegas residency shows bring some of the world’s biggest artists to one stage for an extended run, making it easier than ever to catch a superstar live. Upcoming residencies in 2026 include names like Kelly Clarkson, No Doubt, Jennifer Lopez, and the Backstreet Boys, with shows taking place at iconic venues such as The Colosseum at Caesars Palace and The Sphere.

Cirque du Soleil
Watch in awe at one of Cirque du Soleil’s shows, a long-standing part of Las Vegas entertainment. Each production dazzles with a striking combination of acrobatics, music, dance, and visual storytelling in its own unique way. Featuring 5 permanent shows, these include the water-based O at the Bellagio, Mystère at Treasure Island, KÀ at MGM Grand, Michael Jackson ONE at Mandalay Bay, and The Beatles LOVE at the Mirage.

Blue Man Group
Get ready for a night like no other with the Blue Man Group. Dubbed 'hard to describe, easy to love', this performance act is perfect for when you're looking for something a little bit bizarre. A bit like if the Smurfs grew up and started a band, you can witness music, art, and theatre in a vibrant display that promises to be memorable at the very least.

David Copperfield
Magic takes to the stage at the MGM Grand with David Copperfield, where his long-running show features large-scale illusions and audience participation. Known for his ability to make the impossible feel believable, the performance remains a popular choice on the Las Vegas Strip and continues to draw crowds year after year.

Grand Canyon Helicopter Tour
Experience the Grand Canyon from a whole new perspective with a helicopter tour departing from Las Vegas. While the canyon sits in northwest Arizona, tours run seven days a week and can be booked in advance or through your hotel. From soaring cliffs to winding river views, the scenery is unforgettable. It’s definitely one for the camera roll.

Seven Magic Mountains
They say three is the magic number, but in Las Vegas, more is always better. Seven Magic Mountains is an iconic art installation, displayed in the desert landscape along Interstate 15. Created by Ugo Rondinone, the colourful stack of boulders contrasts the natural with the artificial. Top tip: Be sure to pack plenty of water and snacks as you head towards this masterpiece.

Red Rock Canyon Trails
If you enjoy staying active while you travel, Red Rock Canyon offers plenty of scenic trails. One standout is the Calico Tank Trail, a roughly 2.5-mile round-trip hike known for its red sandstone formations and sweeping views back toward Las Vegas. The moderate trail includes some rock scrambling, so it’s a bit challenging in places, but the views at the top make it well worth the effort.

Flamingo Wildlife Habitat
Located inside the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel, the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat is a peaceful escape right on the Strip. Home to Chilean flamingos, along with swans, pelicans, koi fish, and turtles, it’s an easy place to slow down and take a breather. Open daily, it’s especially popular with families and offers a calm contrast to the city's buzz.

Neon Museum
Las Vegas is the city of lights, so a visit to the Neon Museum feels especially fitting. What began as a storage space for retired neon signs has grown into a fascinating outdoor museum celebrating the city’s glowing past. Today, more than 200 restored signs tell the story of old casinos, hotels, and landmarks that helped shape Las Vegas.

The Mob Museum
For something a little different, head downtown to The Mob Museum. This immersive attraction explores the history of organised crime and its influence on American society. Through hundreds of artefacts, interactive exhibits, and real-life stories, the museum offers a compelling look at a darker, yet fascinating side of the city’s past.

Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens
Escape into a floral-filled world at the Bellagio Conservatory & Botanical Gardens. Spanning 14,000 square feet, the space is filled with more than 10,000 flowers and plants, carefully arranged by a team of expert horticulturists. The displays change with the seasons - spring, summer, autumn, winter - along with a special Lunar New Year theme, so no two visits are ever the same. Even better, entry is completely free.

Pinball Hall of Fame
It’s easy to feel like you’ve stepped back in time at the Pinball Hall of Fame, home to the world’s largest collection of pinball machines. Unlike a traditional museum, every machine is playable, letting you relive old favourites from decades past. You’ll also find classic arcade games, including vintage sports and skill games, all ready for a bit of hands-on fun.

Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas Sign
Did you even go to Vegas if you didn’t stop by the iconic Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign? Sitting just south of the Strip on Las Vegas Boulevard, this 25-foot-tall landmark has been welcoming visitors since 1959. It’s easy to visit, with a dedicated parking area, and makes for a classic Vegas photo you’ll want to keep.

Fountains of Bellagio
You've probably seen the famous Fountains of Bellagio in movies like Ocean's Eleven - but seeing is believing. Venture to The Strip, and you can watch over 1,000 fountains and almost 5,000 lights dance before you in a free live show that captures the romance and wonder of Las Vegas. Showcasing daily, you can also take advantage of the scenic background and capture the perfect family photo.

The High Roller
Take a ride on the High Roller, the largest observation wheel in the United States. Standing 550 feet tall at The LINQ Promenade, its glass-enclosed, climate-controlled pods offer sweeping 360-degree views of the city. The ride is especially memorable after dark, when Las Vegas lights up in every direction.

Fremont Street Experience
Contrary to popular belief, not every attraction in Las Vegas costs a lot. The Fremont Street Experience has your entertainment needs covered 24 hours a day. Here, you can enjoy free live music concerts every night, along with spectacular light shows paying homage to the famous stars, such as Shakira, The Killers, and more.

STRAT Tower
Standing 1,149 feet tall, the STRAT Tower is home to one of the highest observation decks in the United States. And while the views are impressive, the real excitement comes from its thrill rides. Brave X-Scream as it teeters you over the edge, or try Big Shot, which launches riders up the tower at 45 mph before dropping them back down.

Big Apple Coaster
Located at the New York New York Hotel & Casino, the Big Apple Coaster packs serious thrills into every twist and turn. Reaching speeds of up to 67 miles per hour, it features the world’s first 180-degree heartline twist. Riders climb 203 feet before plunging 144 feet, all with sweeping views of the Strip. It’s fast, fun, and not for the faint of heart.

LINQ Zipline
For a bird’s-eye view of the Strip, head to the LINQ Zipline. Launching from the 12th-floor tower at The LINQ Promenade, you’ll glide 1,121 feet above Las Vegas Boulevard at speeds of up to 35 mph. As the Strip’s only zipline, it offers a unique perspective of the city and finishes near the High Roller.

Flyover Las Vegas
Flyover Las Vegas delivers a visually striking ride through some of the American West’s most famous landscapes. From the bright lights of the Las Vegas Strip to natural wonders like the Grand Canyon and Lake Tahoe, each scene unfolds across a massive 52-foot screen. The result is a smooth, immersive experience that makes you feel as though you’re truly soaring above each destination.

Las Vegas Holiday FAQs
UK visitors will need an ESTA for Las Vegas holiday. An ESTA is an online application that grants permission to enter the U.S. You will need to complete your ESTA application no less than 72 hours prior to travel and can be done through the government website or free ESTA mobile app.
Tipping is customary in Las Vegas, and it's generally expected for good service. In restaurants, a tip of 15-20% is standard, while hotel staff, taxi drivers, and other service workers also appreciate tips. Although it's not mandatory, tipping is an important part of the service culture in the city.
Las Vegas is 8 hours behind the UK, meaning you’ll gain some extra time to enjoy the bright lights city. This time difference can vary during daylight saving time.
The main airport in Las Vegas is Harry Reid International Airport (LAS), which is just a few miles off the Las Vegas Strip. It is the primary gateway for travellers flying in and out of the city. Other airports include Henderson Executive Airport (HND), and North Las Vegas Airport, less than 6 miles from Downtown Vegas.
For some, the best time to visit Las Vegas is in the spring and autumn months, when the weather is a little milder and you can explore without sweltering too much. However, due to this, it is also a busier time, so if you would prefer a less crowded Vegas holiday, summer and winter may suit your needs better.
In Las Vegas, you can get around using several options, including taxis, rideshare services like Uber and Lyft, and the Deuce bus, which runs along the Strip.
The Monorail is another convenient option for traveling along the Strip. For short distances, walking is also popular, as many attractions are close together.
If you’d prefer to rent a car, particularly if you’re looking to venture outside of the Strip, then we can offer car hire for USA holidays. From 15-seater vans to compact two door cars, we can cater to all party sizes.
Las Vegas has a desert climate, characterised by hot summers and mild winters. Summer temperatures often exceed 38 degrees, while winters are cooler, with daytime highs around 10-15 degrees. Rain is rare, but occasional showers can occur, mostly in the winter months.
Most visitors find that four to five days in Las Vegas is ideal to experience the main attractions, shows, and nightlife. This gives you enough time to explore the Strip, visit a few casinos, attend a show, and take a day trip to nearby sights like the Grand Canyon or Hoover Dam.
If you're interested in more leisurely exploration, you can book up to 21 nights with us. We also allow you to book up to 36 months in advance with just a low deposit to pay today, so you can have plenty of time to plan your 'must do' list.
