Do you catch yourself getting nostalgic about the golden oldies? Disney's Pop Century Resort will let you take a trip down memory lane to relive the most iconic pop culture moments of the 20th century. Re-experiencing the rocking 50s, the hippie 60s, the disco dancing of the 70s, the 80s walkmans, the 90s and its rollerblades. Then soon enough, you'll be creating new memories with loved ones young and old surrounded by larger-than-life decorations.

Nods to popular toys, fads, dance crazes, and catchphrases surround amenities like large resort pools, delicious dining options, and fun Resort programs abound. For those heading to Disney’s theme parks, a sky-liner provides direct access to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. For anything else, here is your expert guide...


Check-in details at Disney's Pop Century Resort

To reach the resort it takes just a 30-minute drive from the Orlando International Airport. Your Disney adventure can begin from 3 pm check-ins at the Lobby in the Classic Hall, where you will be greeted by an array of colours and memorabilia that set the tone of your trip.

PS. No one wants to think about leaving Walt Disney World, but for future reference, check-out is until 11 am.


Room Options at Disney's Pop Century Resort

This 2880-room resort provides fantastic and homelike accommodation, promising ultimate comfort for your stay. The spacious rooms are well-designed to accommodate up to four people and an additional child under 3 years. Choose between standard or preferred options with the main difference lying in the location and the view of the room.

The preferred rooms in the 50s, 60s, and 70s section will locate you closer to the Classic Hall and other Resort amenities. All of the spectacular buildings have four levels. Take the stairs or the elevator, walk through the exterior hallway, and enter your approximately 260-square-foot room. Here, you can enjoy a spacious king-size or queen-size beds.

Whether you have booked a preferred room or a standard room, the rooms provide everything for you to find relaxation after your amazing day at Disney World. There's a cosy feeling from amenities such as a Flat Panel TV, Free Wifi, beverage cooler, in-room safe, alarm clock, hairdryer, and ironing boards. We're delighted to confirm accessible rooms are also bookable, including a king-size bed, along with handrails and roll-in showers.

Top tip: If you enjoy wildlife and quietness, request a water-view room on the first floor. You might see bunnies or catch a duck walking next to your room!


Dining and Entertainment at Disney's Pop Century Resort

From early morning to late night, the main dining hall “Everything Pop Food Court” will leave you full and satisfied with a variety of food options. The Everything Pop Food Court is an excellent choice to start your day, with an amazing breakfast, and throughout the day you can come back to take a delicious lunch and dinner.

Disney Dining Plans will be accepted here, and you can use your Resort-Refillable Mug. If after your exciting day at the park and in the resort you are ready for some relaxation in your room, your preferred option might be putting on the TV, putting up your legs, and enjoying your well-deserved meal from the Pop Art Pizza delivery. Besides delicious Pizza, you can treat yourself with wings, sandwiches, and salads, being delivered right up to your room. The perfect refreshing drink can be found in the colourful Petals Pool Bar. Here, you can sunbathe, go for a leisurely swim, and enjoy your favourite beverage in a laid-back 1960s-themed area.



Three imaginative resort pools leave no decades untouched - it's just on you to choose the decade to travel back in time. The Bowling Pool can be found in the 50s area. The flower-shaped '60s Hippy-Dippy Pool provides an additional kids’ pool and playground nearby. And the Computer Pool lets you re-experience the 90s.

If you need any extra motivation to cool off the pools, how about some sporting activities? You can use the 1.4-mile jogging trail that surrounds Disney's Pop Century Resort, and use it as a way to explore the Resort and snap photos with the giant larger-than-life icons - some of them are even over 60 feet tall. Along the way, you can also find a fun outdoor twister game. Cross the Generation Gap Bridge and walk the path near the water to enjoy a beautiful walk. For extra activities, the Resort program “Movie under the stars“ is a must.

In addition, Poolside Activities can be found every day between 1:30 pm and 7:00 pm. Be sure to check the seasonal program after you arrive for activities such as trivia, arts and crafts, bingo, and dance parties.

Between all of that action, if you need a little snack, or want to buy beautiful merch - Everything Pop grants your wishes and can be found in the Classic Hall.


Transport & Extras at Disney's Pop Century Resort

You can reach the theme parks, water parks, and other resorts with complimentary transport. As well as a shuttle service, Disney's Pop Century Resort provides access to the Skyliner, an exquisite gondola system offering beautiful lake views, for visits to Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and other selected resorts. You can find the start of the Skyliner between the Pop Century Resort and Disney's Art of Animation Resort at Hourglass Lake.



At the end of the lobby in the Classic Hall, adjacent to the Everything Pop Shopping, is where you can find the bus stop for Disney's bus service. It's well organized, with buses departing every 20 minutes. If there's a little bit of a wait for your return bus, you can always hop on a bus heading to Disney Art of Animation and simply walk the short distance between the resorts.

Different laundry options are available during your stay. Regarding childcare, you can book an in-room childcare service for kids between 6 years and 12 months at the resort with 24\7 availability. Alternatively, you can use the Children's Activity Center at The Walt Disney World Dolphin.
 

FAQs

Does Pop Century offer complimentary breakfasts?

No. While there are no complimentary breakfast offerings, you will find a bright selection and reasonably priced breakfast at the Everything Pop Dining Hall.


Can you wash clothes at Pop Century?

Yes. You can choose between two options. Either you let your laundry be picked up from your room by the laundry service or use the coin-operated self-service laundry that can be found throughout the resort.


Does Pop Century get extra magic hours? 

Yes. Staying at the Disney Pop Century Resort, you are eligible to enter 30 minutes earlier at the theme park of your choosing. This allows you to make some extra magical memories and saves you waiting time.


Are the Pop Century Resort restaurants on the Dining Plan?

Yes. Disney's Dining Plans will be accepted. Pre-book the dining plan with your reservation and let your stay feel like an all-inclusive vacation!


How many pools are at Pop Century?

Three Pools, each of them themed after a decade. So it's up to you to choose which decade you want to relive!
