Package Holidays To Florida 2024 & 2025
Welcome to Florida, America’s sun-kissed south-eastern state brimming with everything you need for a sunny holiday. Countless beaches, world-class theme parks, and incredible weather typical of the Caribbean await you here.
Have roller-coaster thrills at Universal Orlando Resort or Walt Disney World, enjoy cultural pastimes like visiting the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg or Miami’s Art Deco District, or simply laze the days away by the beach… there’s plenty of them to choose from, after all.
Suitable for all ages, you’ll be gobsmacked by the number of activities that are great for kids and big kids alike, making Florida the ultimate family holiday destination.
Florida’s weather is pretty generous throughout the year, with peaks just shy of the thirty degrees between May and September. The lows record roughly at 16 degrees in the winter months, so even the cooler periods are still warm.
The best time to go is suggested to be the March and April period, as around here the temperature rises but isn’t scorching like in the Summer months, the perfect conditions for enjoying Florida to the fullest. As you race between rides in the theme parks, strolling across the beaches and visiting animal attractions like Gatorland or Discovery Cove, you’ll be grateful for choosing a cooler time of year.
Kids will have the holiday of a lifetime in America’s Sunshine State, as there are oodles of things to do for little ones. From the Magic Kingdom to the Everglades, to swimming with bottlenose dolphins at Seaworld, the number of pastimes available to children is seemingly endless. Walt Disney World, Legoland, and Universal Orlando Resort are packed full of child-friendly rides and experiences and are sure winners for younger holidaymakers.
Other activities that’ll spark their interest include seeing alligators at Gatorland in Orlando, or Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral. As well as the ton of beaches on hand too, there’s no doubt the kids will have a blast during their holiday to Florida.
Although Florida is a family-heavy holiday, teenagers certainly won’t be stuck for activities, as there’s so much for them to indulge in during their getaway. In fact, teens are privileged with some of the most exciting activities to ever be offered from a holiday destination.
Teens can of course enjoy the more thrilling rides at famous theme parks like Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World, but they won’t be restricted to the rollercoasters only. The beaches across the state offer an array of water and beach sports, from water polo and beach volley ball, to skimming the ocean on jet and water skis. Other enticing activities include visiting National State Parks like the John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park for some sub-nautical adventure, or swim with creatures from the deep at Seaworld.
At first glance you may think Florida is all about making sure an entire family has a brilliant time, but that’s not to say that romancing couples can’t have a romantic holiday themselves. Love birds will be delighted with the number of things to do in the Sunshine State, with incredible sights to catch, unique experiences to be had, and memorable dining experiences to be enjoyed.
Why not swim with dolphins at Discovery Cove? Or share a kiss under the fireworks at Walt Disney World? You can even ride horses on the beaches of Amelia Island where you’ll ride off into the sunset.
The most romantic of destinations are on the beach-sides on the Emerald, Gulf and Atlantic Coasts, as each possesses their own collection of lavish beaches ripe for romantic dining and strolls.
If you’re in Florida and you’re after the latest in designer brands and upscale shopping, then you’re definitely looking in the right place. True glitz and glamour are up for grabs at countless boutiques around the Miami area particularly, as you might expect thanks to the city’s reputation for attracting those with a taste for the finer things in life.
If you're after a bargain, you'll find not one, but two outlet shopping malls in Orlando. Shop all your favourite American brands and find a souvenir for a fraction of the price. What's more, each major city in the state has its own neat collection of shopping districts and malls bursting with retail-goodness.
Adventure is Florida’s middle name, as the state is synonymous with the great outdoors. When you think of Florida, think Disney World, think Seaworld, think Busch Gardens… the list goes on. From Universal Studios to the shedload of alligator farms, there’s no doubt that adventure will strike in every corner you look.
But world-famous theme parks aren’t where the buck stops. Anyone with a thirst for adventure can find their slice of it in jet ski rides across the oceans, exploration across the Keys, and skimming the Everglades on an airboat. The opportunities for a good time are limitless for thrill-seekers, so if it is a piece of adventure you’re looking for, then you’re certainly looking at the right side of the US.
