There’s no clear cut answer for Mexico, as it can vary depending on the region. The winter months (December to April) are generally a good time to visit most parts of the country, with minimal rainy days on the forecast and mild temperatures. However, if you prefer fewer crowds and lower prices, you ought to consider travelling during the shoulder seasons (the time between off-peak and high season), such as late spring (April to May) and early fall (September to October).

Mexico City is typically in the Central Time Zone (CT), which is 2 hours ahead of Los Angeles during Standard Time. However, Mexico City, like Los Angeles, may also observe Daylight Saving Time, so the time difference can change to 1 hour during the DST period.

The Eastern part of Mexico, including Cancun and the Riviera Maya, is in the Eastern Time Zone (ET), which is 3 hours ahead of Los Angeles during Standard Time. Similarly, the time difference may become 2 hours during Daylight Saving Time.

The Baja California region in Mexico, including cities like Tijuana and Ensenada, is in the same Pacific Time Zone (PT) as Los Angeles - so there is no time difference between Los Angeles and these areas.

Not all regions in Mexico observe Daylight Saving Time (i.e Sonora) so this can also affect the time difference.
