It’s been a long time since a record was broken in Orlando, with parks always looking to offer the next big thing in thrills and exhilaration it’s about time we had something to scream about.
That time has finally come and Orlando is turning it up a notch, SeaWorld in particular just got a whole lot more thrilling…
Say hello to Mako, Orlando’s tallest, fastest and longest ride to date. Conjuring up the perfect blend of fun, thrills and fear, SeaWorld’s new Coaster is everything you’ve been waiting for and more, with ridiculous airtime, huge hills and twists and turns, you won’t find anywhere else quite like it.

Named fittingly after one of the ocean’s fastest known sharks, Mako puts you in the seat of an apex predator. Brian Morrow, SeaWorld’s Senior Director of Development & Design said “Mako really takes you by the scruff of the neck surging through the water at top speeds, showing you what it’s really like to be a predator of the ocean”.
Orlando’s longest roller coaster is nearly 1-mile long. That’s 33 Olympic sized swimming pools end-to-end! And reaches speeds of up to 73MPH, meaning it takes no prisoners.

In addition to Mako, SeaWorld have also introduced a new reimagined area called Shark Wreck Reef a 2-acre realm inspired by an underwater shipwreck. The area features Shark Encounter, Sharks Underwater Grill, shops and educational experiences dedicated to every species of shark in the wild.
