This year the relentless and unforgiving Tough Mudder is back with a vengeance, ready and waiting to instil fear and misery on those who dare try complete its treacherous path and ungodly obstacles.
This year is different from most years however, this year Ocean Florida has enlisted 19 of its bravest staff members to stare the Tough Mudder beast right in the eyes and say enough is enough.
For those of you unfamiliar with the term Tough Mudder allow me to explain briefly the rules of what can only be best described as hell on earth. Probably the toughest event in the whole Universe, Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile mud and obstacle course designed to drag you by the scruff of the neck out of your comfort zone and throw you with force into testing your physical strength, stamina and mental stability…piece of cake right?
With no winners, no podiums and no time to beat, Tough Mudder is all about teamwork and accomplishing something together, this is why we at Ocean Florida thinks it’s a great opportunity to dive head first into something we can all do together and better yet, we’re doing it for charity!
The Charity Ocean Florida have decided to run for is ‘Just a Drop’. ‘Just a Drop’ is an international water aid charity, providing clean, safe water to some of the poorest communities in over 30 countries. Their charity operates with just a few full-time staff and an army of volunteers trying desperately to help those in need. We feel this charity is a superb one to dedicate our run to and have raised funds from sponsorships and donations to make a good contribution, you can check out their page
