- Grand amphitheatre built in 1937
- See the fireworks on Saturday nights
- Catch one of the tribute acts which perform weekly
Relax in the sun with a few drinks and catch some live music at the Daytona Beach Bandshell. Built in 1937, this grand amphitheatre features historic-style architecture and is made from coquina, a type of shell often used in making roads in Florida and the Caribbean. This local landmark can be found in Ocean Walk Village, situated right by the beach.
The Bandshell is perfect for hazy summer evenings. Witness stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean and the sunset as you soak up the friendly, party atmosphere. Between May and September on a weekly basis, normally on Fridays and Saturdays, you can catch a band playing for very little, sometimes for free. Tribute bands dominate the listings and you can hear a diverse range of music. Expect to see performances of all of your favourite songs from the Rolling Stones to the Commodores. Saturday night performances are extra special, gaze in awe at a majestic firework display, after the concert.
