One of the key attractions in Memphis is Elvis’ Graceland, a huge mansion where he lived and worked. Take a tour inside and catch a glimpse of his personal life, witnessing the pop culture filled house which has been preserved since the 1970s. Gaze at all of Elvis’ records and trophies in the large trophy building. This amazing collection features his gold and platinum records as well as other notable memorabilia including Lisa Marie’s childhood toys and Elvis and Priscilla’s wedding attire.
After touring the mansion and trophy building, there is a brand new 200,000 square foot entertainment complex to look around. Here you’ll discover exhibits which connect to Elvis’ personal life, like his passion cars, planes and new technologies. The Presley Motors Automobile Museum showcases 20 of Elvis’ favourite vehicles which include his iconic pink Cadillac.
Standing out from the rest of the exhibits is his custom jet, named after his daughter Lisa Marie. The opulent jet features a living room, conference room, sitting room and a private bedroom. The seatbelts are gold plated, there are leather covered tables and suede seats. The sink even has 24-karat-gold flecks. Look inside and see how he travelled around the world.
