What Disney World's Major Change to Ticket Prices Means
It’s official, now is the best time to book a Florida holiday to Walt Disney World!
On October 6th, Disney announced major changes to their theme park ticket pricing. Ultimate tickets for 7 and 14 day visits will be replaced with seasonal and date-specific prices. We expect the cost of tickets to rise significantly for the most popular dates. We also know that autumn bookings will feature the lowest prices and that this change will come into effect from November 3rd 2021. This deadline coincides with Disney’s 50th Anniversary Package, where you can get 14-Day Ultimate Tickets for the price of 7. Plus, up to $950 Disney Dining Credit per room, $100 Disney Spending Money and a Free Memory Maker worth $199. So, you have less than a month to enjoy our most magical Orlando holiday offers.

What Disney's change of pricing means for existing bookings
If you have existing Disney tickets within an Ocean Florida holiday package, we can confirm that there will be no change to your ticket type, the price, or the final balance of your holiday. Your tickets are safely secured for your holiday dates at no extra charge.
If you’d like to discuss upgrading your tickets, including to the new Genie+ service, please make a request via Manage My Booking.
What is Disney Genie+?
Disney Genie will be a free service included within the My Disney Experience app, allowing you to personalise your experience by choosing your interests, showing wait times for attractions to optimise your day, helping you mobile-order your meals and much, much more. Disney Genie+ will be a replacement service for the FastPass system at theme parks. Genie + costs $15 per person per day and provides Lightning Lane access to attractions. For the most popular rides and experiences, you can also buy a Lightning Lane pass to skip the queues.

To claim the Anniversary Package, you simply have to stay between 5-14 nights at select Walt Disney World resorts, on the following dates…
- 1st Jan to 2nd Apr 2022 (inclusive)
- 24 Apr to 24 Sept 2022 (inclusive)
- 13 Nov to 17 Nov 2022 (inclusive)
- 9 Dec to 18 Dec 2022 (inclusive)

How do you use Disney Dining Credit?
Exclusive to on-site hotel guests, Disney Dining provides great value meals without compromising on quality. A digital card will be sent to you on your day of arrival, to the email address provided at your check-in.
You will then be able to book in advance at over 250 different dining venues across the Disney Parks, Springs and Resort hotels, where you can fine-dine with beloved characters or grab food on-the-go between attractions. Always with well-balanced meals and flexibility to dietary requirements on offer.
You simply need to present your Dining Promo Card to a Disney Member via your mobile device or a printed version of the email. The barcode will be scanned, and your remaining credit updated. For the technology lovers, you can even order online at My Disney Experience and collect your food at a pre-arranged location. That’s why Disney Dining saves you time, helps your budget, and offers stress-free planning.

Quick-service dining
For breakfast, lunch or dinner you can get quick-service on a wide variety of soups, sandwiches, salads or pasta, with fish, chicken and many more culinary delights. Yet what makes them special, are the inspiration they take from your favourite Disney characters. Consider a pit-stop in Pandora, for a Na’vi inspired menu at the Satu’li Canteen that’s out of this world.
Table-service dining
Table-service dining can be as laidback or luxurious as you like. From a casual rooftop breakfast at Topolino’s Terrace with Mickey and friends - to fine dining at Victoria & Albert’s, one of only a few restaurants in North American to gain a Five Diamond award
Drinks
Theme parks are thirsty work! Luckily, there’s a drink for everyone at Walt Disney World. Is character dining still available?
We are delighted to say character dining is still available! While some experiences are still temporarily closed, you can still share a meal with beloved characters. Including at the fan-favourite Chef Mickey’s, where he and his pals will make a surprise visit to each room and sign special autographs for each table. Located at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, you can also behold panoramic views of Bay Lake.
Top Dining tips for before you go
Book your reservation in advance
Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. To secure your table, it’s highly recommended you do so. At My Disney Experience, you can find your favourite diners and their menus to help decide your booking.
Get to know Disney’s Park Pass System
Disney has re-opened their theme parks with a Park Pass System to manage daily attendances. So as well as booking your dining reservation, use your My Disney Experience Account to select the days you wish to visit the theme parks. If you’re planning to jump parks for your dining, that’s perfectly fine after 2 PM - just ensure you get a Park Hopper ticket.
Is the Anniversary Basket Included?
Our packages do not include the Anniversary basket, however they can be added on to your booking for an additional fee. Speak to your Travel Specialist who will be more than happy to arrange this for you.
