Dolphin Swim Experience

For the majority of Discovery Cove guests, this one-on-one dolphin swim experience is the highlight of their entire visit. Small groups are accompanied by an expert trainer and taught all about dolphin behaviour and the way they communicate during these 30-minute interactions. Get acquainted with the bottlenose dolphins before emerging into the deeper water for an experience like no other. Then, take hold of the dolphin's dorsal fin and hold on tight as you enjoy an unforgettable tow ride back to shore.

Freshwater Oasis

Set under a verdant rainforest canopy, step into the sparkling springs of the Freshwater Oasis for even more animal encounters. Wade, swim or float around the water-filled trails finding fascinating discoveries along the way. See curious marmosets jumping overhead from tree to tree and watch loveable otters playing on the rocky outcrops. All guests must wear provided complimentary life jackets while enjoying The Grand Reef.

Please note that participants must be at least 6 years old, and all individuals must meet the minimum height requirement of 42 inches to join the Dolphin Swim. Additionally, children between the ages of 6 and 12 must be accompanied by a paying adult who is also participating in the swim.

For interactions with Dolphins, Rays, Flamingos, and Animal Trek, children aged 6 to 12 must be accompanied by an adult (18+). For SeaVenture, Shark Interaction, and Shark Snorkel, children aged 10 to 13 must be accompanied by an adult (18+).
