After months and sometimes years of planning your picture-perfect holiday, you want the photo album to match the memories. Nowhere is this wish truer than at Walt Disney World. Around every corner of the resort, you will find fairytales coming to life in a fantasy land that could never be captured in one picture alone. Thankfully, we're here to help you find the photo spots that best capture you. No matter whether you're a foodie, music lover, sci-fi nerd or a bit of a Disney princess, here are 11 of the most magical attractions at Walt Disney World that we think you'll love...

Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom

The epitome of classic Disney, Cinderella’s Castle in Magic Kingdom is the most popular photo spot at Orlando theme parks, if not around the world. After all, every fairytale adventure needs a castle. And if you want a more unique snap of this iconic attraction, head over to the nearby archways for a perfectly framed photo with the Cinderella's Castle in the background.

The bridges towards Liberty Square, Fantasyland, and Tomorrowland also provide less crowded photos. Yet our top tip is this: add that extra sparkle to your pictures by opting for a Magic Shot. This is when a Disney photographer digitally enhances your photo with a dose of Disney magic.

Be Our Guest restaurant in Magic Kingdom

For a photo fit for royalty, enter the dazzling world of Beauty and the Beast. Located at the foot of Beast’s Castle in Fantasyland, Be Our Guest restaurant is upscale dining at its finest. What's more, in the Grand Ballroom, a domed ceiling, chandeliers, and Gothic arches create the ultimate photo backdrop. And don’t worry, the West Wing is not out of bounds here. So, be sure to strike a pose next to the Enchanted Rose too.

Top tip – Book in advance as this is a highly popular spot.

The Tree of Life in Animal Kingdom

With over 8,000 branches, this 145-foot sculpture of a baobab tree is one of the most famous Walt Disney World photo spots. For the best vantage point, head to the overlook between Africa and Asia for less crowded and unobstructed views of The Tree of Life.
Alternatively, you can get up close to discover the hundreds of animals that have been carved into the tree. And things only get more magical at night in Animal Kingdom when the tree is lit up in assorted colours.

Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood Studios

Those always more to see in America. Yet Disney dreamers who also dabble in California dreamin' need look no further than Hollywood Studios. Here, you can take a stroll along the iconic Sunset Boulevard that's crammed with photo opportunities by design. Put your acting skills to the test with a frightened pose in front of the Tower of Terror, keep it casual under the Californian palm trees, or take a selfie with your favourite Disney characters.

Aerosmith’s Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster in Hollywood Studios

"For those about to rock, we salute you."

In fact, we can help you find your inner rock star at Hollywood Studios. Get your air guitar ready for the quintessential rocker photo in front of Aerosmith’s oversized red guitar, located on Sunset Boulevard.  And once the shoot is over, venture through to the Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith that blasts their tunes as you travel fast enough to hit all the high notes.

The Valley of Mo’ara in Animal Kingdom

Are there any Avatar film fans in your group?

If so, behold the wonders of Pandora as you wander through The Valley of Mo’ara. While many guests enter The World of Avatar for the famed Flight of Passage ride, there are photo ops galore here too. Pose under the floating mountains, nestle amongst the exotic plants, or give the Na’vi drums a strike for a picture that really is out of this world.

Top tip - To add even more wow factor to your photo, be sure to return at nightfall when the whole place glows.

Spaceship Earth in Epcot

You might need your long lens for this one! At 180 feet high, and 165 feet in diameter, Spaceship Earth is a symbol that demands awe and a funny pose in equal measure. Nicknamed the Epcot Ball or The Giant Golf Ball, why not hold it in your hands for the picture? All you need is the right camera perspective. But if you can’t quite find a good spot up close, fear not. The display gardens out front, with the icon of Epcot behind, make for an equally pleasing family photo backdrop.

The Purple Wall in Magic Kingdom

Even walls can offer a magical photo opportunity at Walt Disney World. And this isn’t just any purple wall, this one even has its own instagram famous page. In fact, it's one of the glorified ‘Walls of Instagram' - alongside The Bubble Gum Wall and Moss Wall - that many flock towards to add a pop of colour to their social media posts.

Best Hidden Photo Spots

Top of the Swiss Family Treehouse in Magic Kingdom

Get in your steps for the day AND find a magical Walt Disney World photo spot – win-win. Trek to the top of the Swiss Family Treehouse for sweeping views of Magic Kingdom that will be well worth the effort.

The Sword in the Stone in Magic Kingdom

With grandiose castles, costumed characters, and epic rides aplenty in Magic Kingdom, The Sword in the Stone monument near Prince Charming’s Regal Carousel is easy to miss. But we recommend seeking it out, and challenging your family to see who can pull out the sword or better yet, take the best picture!

Fichwa Fellow! in Animal Kingdom

With Fichwa meaning hidden in Swahili, this attraction is a nod to the Imagineering tradition of hiding Mickey Mouses over the park. Located in the Harambe Market in Animal Kingdom, this hidden Mickey is another Instagram famous photo wall. Plus, what’s a trip to Disney without taking a picture with the mouse that started it all?
