Damajagua Waterfall Jump and Slide, Puerto Plata

- Eco-adventure
- Guided exploration
- Unspoilt nature
The Damajagua Waterfalls, also known as the 27 Charcos, is one of the most thrilling eco-adventures in the Dominican Republic. Located about 30 to 45 minutes from Puerto Plata, this natural wonder was formed over thousands of years as water carved its way through limestone, creating a series of cascading waterfalls, deep pools, and smooth rock slides.
The experience begins with a scenic hike through lush jungle terrain, which typically takes 30 minutes. Once you reach the top, the real adventure begins: descending through the waterfalls by jumping into crystal-clear pools, sliding down natural rock chutes, and swimming through refreshing waters.
After the hike and activity, you'll enjoy rum punch, and a bottle of water is provided for the hike. The entire excursion typically lasts four hours, including round-trip transportation, hiking, and the descent through the waterfalls.
