One-Hour Fighter Jet Flying Simulation Experience at Flightdeck, Anaheim

For aviation enthusiasts, thrill-seekers, and anyone who has ever dreamed of stepping into the cockpit of a military fighter jet, the Top Gun Experience at Flightdeck + Rogue Racing delivers an immersive one-hour adventure that combines training, competition, and realistic aerial combat.

The experience is divided into two parts: a 30-minute classroom briefing followed by a 30-minute flight simulation. Before taking to the virtual skies, you'll suit up and receive instruction from experienced staff, learning key fighter pilot concepts such as air-to-air combat tactics, target acquisition, radar use, and evasive manoeuvers. 

Once training is complete, you'll climb into a state-of-the-art fighter jet simulator modelled after the F/A-18 Hornet. The mission begins with a dramatic catapult launch from an aircraft carrier, placing you directly into a fast-paced combat environment. As the action unfolds, pilots must use their radar systems to locate enemy aircraft, lock onto targets, score successful hits, and avoid being shot down by opponents. The experience recreates many of the challenges and adrenaline-filled moments associated with real fighter pilot training. 

A standout feature of the simulation is its competitive element. During the mission, you'll engage in aerial dogfights while scores are tracked, encouraging friendly competition among pilots. Success depends on quick decision-making, situational awareness, and effective use of combat tactics learned during the briefing.
