Doppio Westside is located in the vacation home capital of Florida, Kissimmee. Just south of Orlando, you are within a 15-minute drive of Walt Disney World and around 25-30 minutes to Universal Orlando Resort, giving you easy access to all of the world-class rides and shows.  

A stay at Doppio Westside also puts you within touching distance of the bustling entertainment hub, International Drive, as well as SeaWorld Orlando, both within a 30-minute drive. Yes, this resort is a gated community offering 24/7 security for ultimate peace of mind. The secure setting creates a relaxed atmosphere, whether you’re heading out for a day at the theme parks or returning after a late-night dinner on International Drive.

Are there resort facilities? 

Since the resort is new to the scene, there are  several resort facilities currently in the works, including a communal pool with kids’ splash park, a bar and restaurant, as well as a fitness centre and clubhouse.  

Once complete, these additions will give guests even more opportunities to relax and unwind without leaving the resort. Whether you’re planning chilled pool days between theme park visits or looking for family-friendly amenities all in one place, Doppio Westside will have you covered.  

What themed bedrooms are available? 

There are two themed bedroom options to choose from at Doppio Westside. The first is classic Disney magic with the likes of Mickey and Minnie adorning the walls. That’s right, guests can tuck themselves into Mickey bedding at night before meeting the mouse himself at Walt Disney World when the morning comes.  

Older guests may opt for the second bedroom option, Harry Potter. Immerse yourself in the wizarding world with Diagon Alley on one side of the room, house flags overhanging the beds, and special touches like the Golden Snitch and a caged Hedwig perched on top of the chest of drawers.  

The Mickey-themed room features twin beds, while the Harry Potter-inspired bedroom includes two double beds, making both spaces as practical as they are imaginative. Plus, with TVs in every bedroom, guests can unwind in comfort after busy days exploring Orlando’s attractions. 

Is there free transport from Doppio Westside? 

Unfortunately, there is no free transport available from Doppio Westside. However, the resort is located just off Westside Boulevard, where you can connect to the US-192, serving a direct route to Walt Disney World.  

If you don’t fancy driving in the US, there are a variety of other options to get around. The main bus operator Lynx serves all of Central Florida, so all you have to do is check the timetables for your chosen destination and hop on board. For a speedier transit, you can take advantage of ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft.  

What are the resort fees?  

We are pleased to confirm that you will not be charged resort fees at Doppio Westside. You only need to pay a Property Protection Fee of $6 per day (capped at $126) by credit or debit card as part of the registration and online check-in. This helps cover accidental damages during your stay and ensures guests can enjoy the villas and facilities with extra reassurance throughout their holiday.
