Do you dare to enter the realms of gore, goosebumps, and ghastly scares? Then Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort is right up your dimly lit alley.

This year marks its 35th year of fear, and the World’s Premier Halloween Event is not holding back. Across select nights from 28 August to 1 November 2026, the park transforms into a full-scale nightmare, packed with spine-chilling encounters and otherworldly entertainment for anyone brave enough to enter.

Dying to know the gory details of this year's scare fest? Then explore our comprehensive guide to Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Orlando Resort in 2026 and brace yourself for an abomination like no other.

Dive into the Darkness at Halloween Horror Nights

At the bloodthirsty heart of Halloween Horror Nights are the spine-tingling houses, themed in line with the most macabre and hair-raising moments from cult horror films and spooky TV shows. With 10 horrifying houses to survive, only the strongest and most fearless souls will emerge unscathed.

And just when you think you’ve emerged from the depths of the paranormal, having braved the supernatural houses, beware of the unsuspecting menace that awaits you in the Scare Zones. Watch your back on the streets as you venture into Scare Zones designed to send you into a harrowing tale of terror with immersive props, sets, and actors so uncanny, they’ll leave you trembling with dread.

Think the scares end there? Not on your afterlife. Indulge in the electrifying thrill of live entertainment, show-stopping performances, and creepy music for a night filled with devilish delights. Then, scream your heart out as you take a chilling ride on selected attractions, and satisfy your dark cravings with culinary concoctions and drinks for a night that will haunt your memories eternally.

And just when you thought you’d seen it all… Halloween Horror Nights unleashes something even more wicked…

Premium Scare Nights

As a nod to Halloween Horror Nights’ 35th year, you’ll get to delve deeper into the darkness at Premium Scream Nights on 27 August and 19 October. This is where horror hits harder and the night moves faster with shorter wait times across houses, scare zones, and rides.

Refuel with all-you-care-to-enjoy select food and non-alcoholic drinks as you make your way through the chaos. These are also the only event nights where costumes are allowed, so you can fully lean into the Halloween spirit (within costume guidelines). And when the night is over, if you make it out, you will carry a free souvenir and a lanyard that proves you survived the screams.

Haunted Houses

Universal Orlando Resort has announced its first haunted house, but the nightmare is just beginning. Keep your eyes open for upcoming reveals...

Jack & Oddfellow: Chaos & Control

The Forces of Horror Collide
Horror icons aren't born. They’re made. Discover the unholy origins of Jack the Clown and enter Dr. Oddfellow's universe as the two pit chaos versus control in this showdown decades in the making.

Live Entertainment

Prepare for a show that’s as bone-chilling as it is breathtaking! Every year, Halloween Horror Nights serves up a spine-tingling spectacle that promises to keep you on the edge of your seat. Last year, 'Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay' blew minds with epic pyrotechnics, fire stunts, and aerial acrobatics set to a brutal metal and electronic soundtrack. While the live entertainment lineup has yet to be announced, we know that it will be gorily epic to celebrate Halloween Horror Nights’ 35th year.

Other Bits and Pieces

Rides & Attractions

You’ll scream just as loud on the rides, some of which will be open during the event. These select heart-pounding attractions include Revenge of the Mummy, MEN IN BLACK Alien Attack, Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts, and Transformers: The Ride-3D.

Dining and Shopping

Rest your voice from screaming as you enjoy themed food and drinks. If last year’s lineup is anything to go by, expect a frightfully fun selection of themed food tents inspired by the haunted houses. These serve up spooky snacks and creative sips to match the chills. If you crave something more classic, you'll find regular menus available at Finnegan’s Bar & Grill, Richter’s Burger Co., Today Café, and Louie’s Italian Restaurant, to refuel from the scares.

Aside from feeding your fear, you can shop for themed merchandise, where you'll find a killer range of collectables, souvenirs, accessories, and apparel - all inspired by the horror that surrounds you.

Do you possess the bravery to confront the fear-drenched spectacle of this Halloween Horror Night extravaganza? If you dare, venture forth to our Universal Orlando Halloween Horror Night page and treat yourself to the holiday of a lifetime.
