Orlando
Unlike the rest of the cities on this list, Orlando does not host any 2026 World Cup fixtures. But think outside the box and imagine this: a wallet-friendly villa in Orlando only a 3-hour drive from the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami - where a grand total of 7 World Cup 2026 matches will be played - that ensures you stay immersed in World Cup fever for less. Better yet, we have villas with home cinema in opulent interiors, and outdoor projectors above lavish swimming pools - guaranteeing you never miss a moment of magic. Not to mention the games rooms for keeping the fun rolling.
Ocean Florida customers even get discounted e-SIMs for use in the USA, priced at half the cost of most UK providers. That means for just $3.60 per day, you get unlimited data enabling you to use online apps in Florida, stream every match and keep up to date with the scores on-the-go.
And what better way to keep the whole family entertained than by having Walt Disney World on your doorstep? We have homes in the most popular villa communities within 10 minutes of the Happiest Place on Earth, allowing you to pair your World Cup experience with world-class attractions with ease.
Boston
Seven of the World Cup matches will be played in Boston, in America’s New England region. As you might’ve guessed from the name, the cities here flaunt European vibes, with their red-brick buildings and rich history. While you’re here, you could line up visits to other cities. It’s around four hours’ drive to the Big Apple and five-and-a-half to Philly – which is nothing by American standards. And, if you need help planning, our expert team will be on hand with bespoke multi-centre itineraries as soon as the hotels become on sale.
Philadelphia
Another of America’s most historic cities is Philadelphia. Here, kick-off will be at the Lincoln Financial Stadium, or The Linc, to locals. There’s a lot of history to soak in when you’re not cheering your side on. This is America’s first World Heritage City, after all. You can see the legendary Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, the birthplace of American government.
Miami
As touched upon, Miami’s matches will be held at the Hard Rock Stadium, which is well-versed in big games, having hosted the Super Bowl six times. The city itself is a mixing pot of cultures. By day, sunbathe on super-famous South Beach or admire Art Deco architecture. By night, scoff Cuban sandwiches and dance them off at late-night salsa clubs. It’s also a great base for exploring the rest of Florida. Our
Miami multi-centre itineraries include pairing up Miami and The Keys, as well as a Gulf Coast to Miami road trip. Or, you could head up to
Orlando and swap red cards for rollercoasters.
Atlanta
Georgia’s capital is the perfect blend of manmade and natural. You’ve got soaring skyscrapers and historic buildings, like the Martin Luther King Jr. National Historic Site. But the city also rubs shoulders with the Appalachian Mountains. It takes an hour and a half to reach the Blue Ridge Mountains for some stellar hiking. The World Cup matches here will be held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in downtown, so you’re close to the city’s splurge-worthy restaurants.
Kansas City
Condé Nast Traveler picked Kansas City as one of its best places to visit in 2023. But with the World Cup coming in 2026, it’s getting another shot at the limelight. Its Arrowhead Stadium is a 15-minute drive from the city’s downtown. And it’s a good-looking location, surrounded by Art Deco architecture and jazz bars. When you want your fill of all things American, Kansas City doesn’t disappoint. This place is dubbed the Barbecue Capital of the World, so you won’t go hungry in between matches.
Houston
The Houston Rodeo – the world’s biggest livestock exhibition and rodeo – won’t be the only event drawing millions of people to this city in 2026. Instead, it’ll be the beautiful game. And, after that, the food. Some 10,000+ restaurants serve up everything from traditional Texan to Mexican and sushi. And it’s a great place to head out on a Texan road trip, hopping between
Houston, San Antonio, Austin and Dallas. Our US holiday specialists can help you plan your dream itinerary – whether it’s a holiday we’ve already carefully constructed, or a bespoke one just for you.
Dallas
Dallas packs in plenty of southern charm. It goes without saying, the food scene here is top-notch. Fried chicken with gravy dipping sauce is a favourite local dish. But it’s also got a burgeoning art scene – the Dallas Arts District sprawls out over 118 acres. Dallas is hosting the most World Cup games, a whopping nine, at its AT&T stadium. It’s easy to explore some more of Texas while you’re here, too – Austin and Houston are just over three hours’ drive away.
Seattle
Scenic Seattle will host six of the 2026 World Cup games at its Lumen Field stadium. The rest of your time can be spent by or on the water that surrounds the city. Sailing, fishing and whale watching are all popular pastimes. And you’re super close to the Canadian border, so you could tick another country off your must-see list, with a trip over to Vancouver.
Los Angeles
The World Cup can’t come to the US and not visit LA, America’s entertainment capital. The city will kick off the World Cup with the opening fixture on 12th June 2026. After, you can squeeze in some sightseeing at the Hollywood Walk of Fame, or admire works by Van Gogh and Rembrandt at The Getty. It’s also a great starting point for a West Coast road trip. You can head up to San Francisco in around six hours. Or take longer and stop off at Santa Barbara and Monterey en route.
San Francisco
Staying in California, the matches move to San Francisco. This bayside city’s a whole different kettle of fish. Football aside, you can take long strolls over the Golden Gate Bridge, or wander down to PIER 39, where the resident sea lions provide the soundtrack. If you fancy exploring further afield, Yosemite National Park is just over three hours’ drive.
New York
The Big Apple will of course host one of the big games – the final, no less. It’ll be held at the MetLife Stadium, around 15 minutes outside the centre. When the football’s not on, there’s a lot to see. The Empire State Building, Times Square, Central Park, The Statue of Liberty – the list goes on… With our
multi-centre itineraries, you can team your time in New York with other cities like Vegas, Miami or Orlando – jetting between the two.
Remember, here at Ocean Florida, we’re the US holiday experts. If you can’t find a multi-centre itinerary you fancy, we can create a bespoke one for you. If your chosen destination isn't on sale for 2026 just yet, we can arrange a call back to you as soon as quotes are available to get you ahead of the crowds.
