The World Stage is Nieuw Amsterdam’s main theatre and the centrepiece of onboard entertainment. Equipped with a 270-degree LED screen, it immerses you in visually stunning performances. For a lively night out, Billboard Onboard delivers the energy of chart-topping hits at sea. Two talented pianists perform nightly in a duelling piano format, spanning songs from the 1950s to today. Audience participation is encouraged through sing-alongs, music trivia, and song requests, creating a highly interactive experience. With a casual bar atmosphere and a wide selection of drinks, it’s a favourite destination for fun and familiar tunes.

Nieuw Amsterdam features two main pool areas to suit different preferences. The Lido Pool features a retractable roof for swimming and lounging in any weather and includes three hot tubs. The Sea View Pool, aft on the same deck, is an adults-only retreat with panoramic ocean views, whirlpools, and a quieter atmosphere. 

The Greenhouse Spa & Salon offers a luxurious wellness experience, from massages and facials to body wraps and acupuncture. The salon provides hair styling, manicures, pedicures, and grooming services for both men and women. Holland America’s Kids Club programme caters to young cruisers aged 3 to 17, all supervised by trained staff. Little ones enjoy arts and crafts and themed games, while older children engage in video game tournaments and sports challenges. Teens can socialise in The Loft, a dedicated lounge with karaoke, dance parties, and games. 

Holland America Line’s signature steakhouse, Pinnacle Grill, offers an upscale dining experience focused on Pacific Northwest cuisine. Morimoto by Sea offers a modern take on traditional Japanese cuisine. The menu features beautifully plated dishes such as sushi rolls, sticky ribs, and the signature Buri Bop. The exclusive sake and wine selections curated by Chef Morimoto elevate the culinary experience.

Canaletto delivers an inviting Italian dining experience in a relaxed trattoria-style setting. Enjoy classic Italian fare with a contemporary twist, from fresh pastas and antipasti to traditional mains like ossobuco and herb-crusted chicken. With its friendly service and authentic flavours, Canaletto is a favourite for those seeking hearty, comforting Italian cuisine.

Inside staterooms are budget-friendly rooms located in the ship’s interior. Without windows or natural light, these compact spaces focus on functionality, offering a queen-size bed and an ensuite bathroom with a shower. Ideal for travellers who plan to spend most of their time exploring the ship and destinations, these staterooms provide comfort without the extra cost.

Ocean View Staterooms sit along the ship’s exterior walls and feature a window or porthole that fills the room with natural light and offers sea views. Slightly larger than inside cabins, some include a seating area by the window. Standard amenities include all the basics of a queen-size bed, bathroom, and storage. 

Verandah Staterooms provide private outdoor space and panoramic ocean views, typically on higher decks. These larger cabins include a sitting area and a balcony furnished for relaxation. Beds include a queen and a sofa bed. 

Suites are the ship’s most luxurious accommodations, often in prime locations with exclusive access to amenities. Some suites feature expansive windows or balconies and span multiple rooms or levels. Enjoy premium bedding, spacious living areas, enhanced bathrooms, and exclusive perks such as priority boarding, concierge service, private lounges, and upgraded amenities.
