Palm Beach Multi Centre FAQs
Palm Beach Multi Centre FAQs
Palm Beach Multi Centre FAQs
We think the period of late fall through to early spring is the best time for Palm Beach Florida twin-centre holidays (roughly from late November to April). This time of year brings milder, more favourable weather with low humidity, plenty of sunshine, and manageable temperatures as winter averages nicely in the low- to mid-twenties. Floridian summers bring extreme humidity and high temperatures, meaning summer months might not be suitable for youngsters or heat-sensitive travellers.
Note that winter is Palm Beach’s peak high-tourist season, so beware that accommodation and the most popular attractions might be busier than what they would be during the less crowded months of early fall or late spring.
Plenty! Palm Beach town is home to all sorts of annual events that you might want to plan your visit around. The Palm Beach Food & Wine Festival is a must for foodies looking to sample some of South Florida’s finest cuisine. Or there’s the Palm Beach International Film Festival, ideal for movie buffs looking to see a star-studded panel talk or nab tickets to exclusive movie screenings. SunFest is also a must if you’re in town and would love to see amazing artists play on spectacular waterfront stages.
There are plenty of other annual events on the calendar too, including the motorsports fun of Palm Beach International Raceway or the ultra-luxe marine displays of Palm Beach International Boat Show.
The best airport depends on flight availability, your personal travel plans, and the location of your accommodation. Located just a few miles from downtown West Palm Beach, Palm Beach International Airport (PBI) is the most popular choice for holiday-goers making their way into the area (and probably the most convenient!).
There’s also Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport (FLL) and Miami International Airport (MIA) that are both close enough to fly into - you’ll need a transfer taxi or coach to take you further north to Palm Beach.
Palm Beach is in the Eastern Time Zone (ET) while the UK is in Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) — meaning the time difference between the two destinations is typically 5 hours. Just remember that Palm Beach becomes just 4 hours behind when America’s Daylight Savings Time is in effect (from March to November), so keep this in mind whenever you’re scheduling plans!
It’s approximately 4,300 miles between Palm Beach and the UK, meaning the average non-stop flight will take around 8 to 10 hours. Just remember each journey duration can differ depending on factors like the flight route and whether you need to take a connecting flight in between.
Absolutely! Multi-centre holidays to Palm Beach Florida are a fabulous family-friendly pick. Enjoy sun, sea, and Atlantic Ocean waves among the many pristine beaches ready and waiting to host your sun-soaked beach day. Or when you’re not kicking back and lounging around your resort pool, rest assured there are numerous family-oriented, animal-based attractions dotted around - perfect picks for kids! Alternatively you can up the ante with something a little more active like a day of hiking, kayaking, canoeing, or horseback riding at the scenic Riverbend Park found in the northerly Palm Beach town of Jupiter.
Good news: Palm Beach has lots of different transportation options! You can rent a car for total freedom and flexibility or pinch a ride from apps like Uber and Lyft that’ll send a taxi ride to your location at the click of a button. Palm Beach is also super bike-friendly thanks to its designated cycle lanes and host of bike-rental services that make a family bike ride around town wonderfully quick, easy, and safe.
There are also trolley routes in some of the downtown areas that provide a hassle-free way to explore the town’s major tourist sites (best of all, the trolleys are totally free). Or you can hop on a water taxi to get around the hotspots dotted across the Intracoastal waterway, which doubles up as a chance to see the beauty of Palm Beach from the water too.
