Solterra Resort promises a tranquil retreat for your ‘rest’ days with accommodations ranging from town houses to detached villas with up to fourteen bedrooms.
The resort features a 6,700 sq. ft Grand Clubhouse with a fitness facility, organised activities and the casual Café Sol with bar and grill, as well as extensive leisure amenities. Our favourites include the huge zero-entry resort-style pool with a water slide, the Jacuzzi spa, and the huge deck with sun loungers and cabanas for all-day relaxation. ChampionsGate Resort
One of the most popular gated communities in the area, the esteemed
ChampionsGate Resort features luxury villas and is located approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Universal Orlando Resort. Villatel Resort Orlando is one of our personal favourites. It boasts an unbeatable location just five minutes away from the hotly anticipated theme park: Universal Epic Universe. You can make the most of Villatel Resort’s free shuttle service to get there early and discover the allure of this brand-new park before anyone else!
Resort villas can host up to twenty-six people and feature sparkling private pools as well as world-class indoor entertainment like movie theatres, arcade rooms, and expertly designed and themed kids’ bedrooms – making it a top choice for larger groups seeking a once-in-a-lifetime trip. A further resort expansion is planned throughout 2025 and will include even more amenities like sports courts and a giant pool with water slides and a lazy river. Watch this space.
Margaritaville Resort Orlando
Ideally situated about 15-20 minutes’ drive from Universal Orlando Resort, the contemporary Margaritaville Resort is one of our top choices for its colourful, Caribbean-style cottages, ranging in size between one and eight bedrooms. Each cottage features its own private pool and everything you’ll need for a self-catering stay including a full kitchen and spa-style bathrooms.
Cottage guests also have access to Margaritaville’s amazing resort amenities right on site, as well as complimentary admission into the neighbouring Island H2O Water Park – the perfect spot for cooling off and chilling out on your days off from the theme parks!

It may be positioned closer to Walt Disney World Resort, but
