In 1990, a partnership between Disney, Tishman Realty & Construction Company and Marriott resulted in the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort. The resort is made up of three Deluxe Disney hotels designed by internationally acclaimed architect, Michael Graves and managed by Marriot – Swan, Dolphin, and Swan Reserve. This means guests can not only take advantage of Disney Resort benefits, but also Marriot Bonvoy rewards too. Situated between EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, the resort provides prime access to Disney’s theme parks and other attractions. Each hotel also offers its own style. The Swan radiates a graceful and contemporary design, complete with swan-shaped spires towering above the building, whereas the Dolphin adds a touch of the Mediterranean and features large dolphin sculptures. Although the hotels are separate, guests can use amenities interchangeably, and they are just a walkway away from one another.
Check-in is at 4pm and check-out is at 11am. You can check in at the front desk or, for added convenience, the Marriott Bonvoy app allows you to check-in early. Your mobile device can also function as your room key. This is a great option for guests who prefer a contactless experience.
Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort offers over 2600 rooms across its three hotels. There are a wide range of room options from standard rooms to suites, with many featuring picturesque views of the resort’s lush grounds, as well as the theme parks. In all rooms you can expect sophisticated décor, plush bedding, high speed internet access, flat screen TVs, mini-fridges, and safes. And if you’re looking for even more ways to fill your days, Walt Disney World’s shopping, dining and entertainment district Disney Springs is also only a 10–15-minute drive away.

And when it comes to entertainment, there is a plethora of activities to enjoy. For aquatic adventures, take your pick from six resort pools as well as swan paddle boat rentals. Stay active on the tennis courts and jogging trails or treat yourself to a bit of me time at the Mandara Spa. And for the little ones, there is Camp Dolphin, with a variety of children’s activities, or the beachside playground. There’s also a games room for when it’s time to come together for some family friendly competition.
One of the greatest advantages of staying at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Resort is its convenient location. The resort is within walking distance to EPCOT and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and you can also take the complimentary water taxi. For trips beyond EPCOT, you can take the (also complimentary) shuttle service to the other Disney parks, such as Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Additionally, guests can also make use of the Disney Skyliner system making it easy to get around the resort.
Other perks of a stay here include early park entry, extended evening hours, and early selection of individual Lightning Lanes through Disney Genie. You are also entitled to complimentary parking at Disney theme parks with a valid room key.

There is no complimentary breakfast at the resort, however, with a mini-fridge and coffee maker in your room you can DIY it or there are a range of great breakfast options on-site.
