The time difference between Los Angeles (in the Pacific Time Zone), and Hawaii (in the Hawaii-Aleutian Time Zone) is typically 2 hours, with Hawaii being 2 hours behind Los Angeles. However, it's important to note that Hawaii does not follow Daylight Saving Time (DST), while some areas of Los Angeles do.

Los Angeles International (LAX) is the main airport for International departures for your Los Angeles twin centre holiday, and you can fly direct to Honolulu, Kailua-Kona, and Kahului from here. Destinations such as Kauai, Hilo and Lanai all require at least one stop via a connecting flight. The direct flight duration tends to be around 6 hours, making it a fairly manageable journey.
