Take a tour of the world's largest working movie studio, and go behind the scenes of some of your favorite films. When the sun goes down, Universal CityWalk boasts the best in evening entertainment including restaurants, bars and live music.
For a break from the glossy streets and beautiful beaches – take a day out to step back in time and discover what LA was like 11,000 years ago. This was the era when saber-toothed tigers, big cats and sloths roamed the streets, and you can see the fossils to prove it. You'll get to see what a real tar pit looks like and meet Zed, a near complete skeleton of a Columbian Mammoth.
You can head to the casino as any time of the day in Vegas. If you love the thrill of gambling, you won't struggle to find somewhere to indulge in your passion. If gambling isn't your thing, the casinos are still worth a visit. Pitch up next to the penny slot machines and indulge in a free drink or two or take a stroll around the shops – most of the big casinos have their very own boutiques.

The Grand Canyon is close by, so a helicopter or hot air balloon tour is an excellent option. Or head to the less visited but equally beautiful Red Rock Canyon and enjoy one of the 19 marked hiking trails. If you'd rather horse than foot, they are plenty of tours available on horseback too.
Take a step back from the strip to experience a more laid back style of Vegas. Here you'll find incredible food trucks, and a monthly festival called Vegas StrEATS which celebrates local art, music and delicacies. Downtown is also home to the Mob Museum where you can get an authentic view of a time when Vegas was run by one of the biggest crime organisations in the world.
