How is the 1-Day access structured at Universal Epic Universe?

Your Universal Orlando 3-Park Explorer PLUS 1-Day Universal Epic Universe Ticket is valid for 15 calendar days. This includes 14 days of access to Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay, along with one day at Universal Epic Universe. You don’t need to pre-book your visit to Universal Epic Universe, but you’ll need to visit within the 15-day validity period.

Can I add a Universal Epic Universe ticket to my existing Universal Orlando 3-Park Explorer Ticket?

You can upgrade your existing Universal ticket to a Universal Orlando 3-Park Explorer PLUS 1-Day Universal Epic Universe Ticket. This upgrade gives you 14 days of park-to-park access to Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Volcano Bay, plus one additional day of park admission to Universal Epic Universe. Currently, Universal Epic Universe is only available as a one-day park.

What happens if I can’t enter Universal Epic Universe on the day of my visit?

Since you don’t need to pre-book for Universal Epic Universe, you can visit on any day during the multi-day window of your All Parks ticket.

We recommend arriving at the park as early as possible to ensure you enter before it reaches full capacity. This is the same principle that all other Universal Orlando Parks apply.

What new rides are at Epic Universe?

Are there Preferred Perks for staying at Universal Helios Grand Hotel or Universal Stella Nova Resort and Universal Terra Luna Resort?

Helios is categorised as a Premier Hotel and both the Stella and Terra Resorts are Prime Value. As such, the usual benefits of staying at resorts in each category apply, including Early Park Admission when staying at all official Universal Orlando Resort hotels.

You can buy Epic Universe tickets in-resort but it’s more cost effective to purchase your ticket in advance. Plus, there is high demand for Epic Universe tickets, with no guarantee that tickets will be available in-resort or at the gate.

Rosen Shingle Creek boasts the distinction of being the closest hotel to Universal Epic Universe which isn’t an official Universal Orlando Resort hotel. This strategic location, just 2.5 miles from Universal Orlando Resort, offers you the convenience of easy access without the premium price tag associated with official Universal hotels.

We can also confirm that shuttles from Rosen Shingle Creek to Universal Orlando Resort are complimentary. Though please note that reservations for the shuttle service are required and must be made in person at the Universal Partner Hotel Vacation Planning Centre located in the hotel lobby. There is also an ADA shuttle service, yet space is limited, with one mobility aid per departure.

If you are staying at a hotel near Universal Orlando Resort, you will need to check the transportation options available to Epic Universe on a case-by-case basis. But to point you in the right direction, here are popular hotels with longstanding, free shuttle services to Universal Orlando Resort that will now also include stops at Epic Universe:

Drury Inn & Suites near Universal Orlando Resort – provides a complimentary shuttle service only 2 miles from Universal that takes 5-10 minutes. Reservations are required and can be made at the Universal Planning Center.

Point Hotel & Suites Orlando – provides a frequent shuttle to Universal taking 5-10 minutes. Guests can get boarding passes by visiting the concierge desk.

Rosen Inn at Pointe Orlando - provides guests with free shuttle service to Universal Orlando Resort taking 10-15 minutes. Scheduling of transportation is based on regular park operating hours and does not run continuously. Advance reservations are required and must be made in person at the Universal Partner Hotel Vacation Planning Center located in the hotel lobby 24 hours prior to departure.

Holiday Inn Express & Suites International Drive Orlando – offers a complimentary, scheduled shuttle taking 10-15 minutes for which guests must register for in advance. Reservations can be made at the Universal Kiosk on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress – offers a complimentary shuttle service running twice daily to Universal Orlando Resort that takes approx. 20 minutes. Guests must make reservations in advance and can be picked up from the hotel lobby area.

Can you park at Epic Universe?

There is a parking lot right outside the main gate entrance of Epic Universe. Depending on whether you're at the front or end of the parking lot, it will take 5-15min to reach the entrance of the park from here.

Parking charges for Epic Universe are the same as other Universal resorts. Parking is usually free after 6 PM at Universal Orlando Resort – aside from evening events like Halloween Horror Nights. Regular self-parking is $32, and preferred self-parking is $60.

Is Epic Universe accessible to disabled visitors?

Universal Orlando Resort is ADA compliant across all of its parks, attractions and accommodations. Therefore, you can expect a range of accessible features, including:
